As early-career economists, exposure to our field can be limited and often we find ourselves working within a confined area of economics or policy. It’s easy to lose sight of just how broad and applicable economics is in today’s workforce – and how many different opportunities are available for economists.
Young Economists Qld (YE) welcome you to join them for a career development evening where you will hear about the challenges and triumphs experienced by professionals across the private, public and academic sectors. Question time will form a large part of the evening and audience members are encouraged to leverage this opportunity to gain genuine career advice, particularly from corners of the economics and policy field that might not be familiar to them.
