The Economic Society of Australia (QLD) invites you to a Post-Budget Briefing on the economic forecasts by Queensland Treasury.  The event will feature Greg Uptin, Director, Economics Division, Queensland Treasury as well as a panel of economists including Michael  Knox, Chief Economist & Director of Strategy (Morgans Financial Limited), Gene Tunny, Principal (Adept Economics) and Peter Munckton, Chief Economist (BOQ).

Summary:  Greg Uptin will walk through the forecasts underpinning the 2015-16 State Budget to be released on 14 July 2015.  A panel of Queensland economists, including Michael Knox and Gene Tunny will comment on the forecasts, examine the underlying assumptions and facilitate a broader discussion with attendees.

Expect:  Sandwich lunch & insightful discussion
