Come and hear from three amazing speakers about how women are increasingly engaging in entrepreneurship and start-ups; about some of the challenges they face including raising capital to support their ideas; and about the impact this is having on the economy.

About the panellists: 

Leanne Kemp is Queensland Chief Entrepreneur and herself the successful founder and CEO of Everledger, a company that uses blockchain to track the provenance of high-value assets. She has been recognised with many awards for her enterprise.

Monica Bradley is an engaging talent with exceptional strategy and global advisory experience who invests time and energy innovating in the emerging digital economy. She works closely with female founders to develop strategies to support the growth of their ideas into successful businesses, including getting access to capital.
Rowena Barrett is the Executive Director of QUT Entrepreneurship. She brings academic and practical understanding of motivations and drivers for entrepreneurship and has been instrumental in activating the University’s entrepreneurship DNA as well as ensuring QUT is a key player in the wider Queensland entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Christine Williams recently retired from Queensland Government where she played a key role in developing the Advance Queensland program to support entrepreneurship in Queensland. Christine is the current Chair of Women in Economics Network (WEN) Queensland
