WEN Queensland invites you to join an online forum to provide feedback for a new Queensland Women's Strategy.
The Queensland Women’s Strategy 2016-21 (the strategy) outlines the Queensland Government’s vision for women and girls, with an emphasis on gender equality. Public consultation on a new strategy is now underway to build on the progress and achievements made. Help build the vision for a gender equal future and how government agencies, industry and the community can collaborate to achieve gender equality.
Cynthia Kennedy is the Director of Partnerships and Engagement at Qld’s Office for Women and Violence Prevention, which forms part of the Department of Justice and Attorney-General, where she’s responsible for engaging with partners to develop, implement and communicate complex and major reforms to achieve the whole of government objectives to end domestic and family violence and achieve gender equality. Cynthia will present an overview of the vision. This will be followed by an opportunity for members to provide their feedback.
The discussion will be moderated by WEN Queensland Chair, Professor Louisa Coglan and Natahsa Doherty, Accenture.
