In 2003 the EU initiated a measure to implement Certification of Professional Competence (CPC) for professional truck drivers by 2014.&nbsp\; No cost/benefit analysis was undertaken when this measure was adopted. Associate Professor Gordon will examine the costs associated with certification to better understand how a similar measure could impact trucking in Australia.
